When Jon finally got back home, he darted straight into the house, startling his mom. "Jon, no running in the house," she told him. "You nearly gave me a heart attack. Why are you in such a hurry?" He was relieved to see that his mom still existed. Although, if she didn't exist, then he wouldn't either, right? Since he never would have been born without her. Well, if his mother still existed, then that meant that either his Goth sister Zoe or his little brother Mikey was no longer there. But which one had disappeared? "Mom, I know this will sound strange, but just humor me, okay?" Jon asked. She nodded. "Do you know anyone named Zoe or Mikey?"
