The Random Remember Stone: No School

When Jon was getting ready and dressed for school, he began to wonder why he even needed to go to school at all. With something like the wishing stone, he could just wish that no one had school that day, or even for the whole week. Then he'd have tons of free time to try out the stone. So, when he grabbed for the stone, he said "I wish no one had school today or the rest of the week." The stone glowed, granting the wish. But after the wish was granted, Jon forgot that he even made the wish. As far as *he* knew, it was completely normal that he had no school that day or for the rest of the week. But someone else in town thought that school was still in session just as always. But who was the person who remembered the previous reality? And why was school out for the rest of the week?
