The Chip Stone: Another Stone is Born

The next morning, Jon woke up. It was a whole new day to try out his newest toy: the wishing stone. He quickly got ready for school, excited to get this day started. When he was finished, he grabbed for the stone and was about to make a wish, but he lost his grip on it and it fell to the floor. The impact was hard enough that a small piece of the stone was chipped off and tossed across the floor. But Jon didn't notice. He just picked up the stone and put it in his pocket, figuring that he should just wait to make a wish when he met up with Karyn. And then he left his bedroom, carrying his schoolbag with him, not even realizing that the small piece that chipped off of the wishing stone was currently growing into another wishing stone. And that new wishing stone was sitting just inside his room. Anyone who came into the bedroom would spot it easily.
