The Wishing Necklace: Open It Later

"Put something nicer on," Breanne said. "What?" "Come on, Jake. *I* dressed up nice. I think you should do the same." Jake sighed. "Fine. But before I do that, do you want to open your birthday present?" he asked, handing her the wrapped gift. "No, not until later," she answered. Jake shrugged, then returned to the bedroom with the gift still in hand to get redressed. About ten minutes later, Jake emerged from the bedroom with something nicer that Breanne apparently approved of. And with that, they both headed out to the nice restaurant that Jake had made reservations for. He took the wrapped gift with him.
