When Willy got back to his house, he decided to try the device out in his living room. His wife wouldn't be back for at least a half an hour, so he had a little bit of time to test it out. He didn't want her to know about it until he gave it to her as a present. He attached the device to the wall just like the shopkeeper showed him, then he held down the button and spoke. "Wood." He released the button and watched as everything in the room took on a wooden appearance. The white-painted walls became covered with wood paneling. The carpeting disappeared and was replaced with stained wood. Even the furniture changed. The HDTV turned into a more old-fashioned wood TV (and with that, also become a standard definition TV), the couch and chairs looked less cushioned and had quite a bit more wood showing, and all the tables, shelves, and cabinets were now wood as well. "Amazing," Willy said, feeling the new furniture. "Everything actually changed. It's not some sort of illusion." He looked around and started to wonder if he could do more than just change the aesthetics of the room. Could he change the room into another room?
