Jon stepped forward and grabbed the rock from James. "You idiot! I'll teach you. I wish that James was gay and only liked guys." The rock glowed, then faded.
James squirmed away from Karyn. "Get away from me. I don't like girls."
"But, baby, I'm your girlfriend," Karyn said. "I love you."
"Well, I don't love *you*." He turned and faced Jon. "I love *you*," he said, smiling.
