Next Morning ...

The next morning, Jon woke up refreshed. He looked at his nightstand. The stone was still sitting there. He picked it up and started thinking of all the things he could wish for. Then, he remembered his grandfather's second letter and the evil entity. Apparently, his previous wish had protected him, since both Jon and his stone had survived the night. He got up out of bed, beginning to get ready for school, when suddenly there was a knock at his door.
