Getting the stone (II)

It seemed like an impenetrable barrier had come up. They were just, for some reason, unable to get close to Karyn. Joy even took a step and found that, somehow, she was no closer than before. "Surprised?" said Karyn. "I prepared for that. I wished that you two couldn't approach me or take the stone. But you almost got me. I made a mistake and made the wish by name, but I guess the stone's smart enough to know to continue the wish even after your names change. So how should I deal with you? I wish...."
