"What did your mom mean by that?" Karyn asked. "Is the stone part of you now?" "I don't know," Jon said. "Try making a wish." Jon thought for a moment, then said "I'm kind of thirsty. I wish I had a Pepsi." Suddenly, there was a can of Pepsi in his hand. "Whoa!" Karyn said. "It's almost like you *are* the stone." "Yeah. And when I made the wish, I could feel myself get warmer, just like the stone does when you make a wish." "You better be careful what you say, Jon," said Karyn. "Now since the stone is part of you, anything you wish will come true, whether you want it to or not."
