Jumping Ahead Ten Years

"When in the future?" Jon asked. Karyn thought it over and said "Ten years from now?" "Ten years? That's it? What about a hundred years, or thousand?" "Well, then we can check up on everyone we go to school with. We can even see our *own* future. And if there's something wrong, we can change when we get back so it won't happen. Like in those Back to the Future movies." Jon shrugged and said "Okay." They both stepped into the chamber, which was a tight fit, and waited for something to happen. "Maybe you have to say out loud where you want to go," Karyn suggested. Jon cleared his throat and said "Ten years from now." And with that, the chamber glowed brightly and they were gone.
