Doesn't Work

The stone glowed, but nothing happened. "What is that?" the girl asked, referring to the stone. He ignored her. "I wish to know why my last wish didn't work." But, of course, it should have been obvious to him. Since he had been physically transported to his reality (instead of taking over this reality's version of himself), then he must not exist in this reality. Not in male *or* female form. The girl was puzzled even more now. Jon wished for something and that stone he was holding glowed, as if it were *magic*. She grabbed it from him, while he appeared to be thinking. "Hey!" Jon yelled, thinking to himself that he shouldn't have brought the stone with him. "Now *I* can do magic," the girl said, smiling.
