Boys Aren't Men

Jon walked slowly to avoid attracting attention. He noticed that most of the older boys were in wheelchairs or on crutches. A few were walking on their own but at a creeping pace. Younger boys seemed physically fine but they were always accompanied by doting females catering to their every need. There were no men. This really *was* an alternate reality! Something was killing off all males here before they reached adulthood. Having arrived from a different reality, Jon was immune to that something, whatever it was ... or was he?
