Role Exchanger: End of First Period

Jon entered the hall, wondering what Karyn had been up to, and spotted the Chair that had replaced Sarah. It had changed...perhaps by necessity, or maybe the exchange wasn't quite finished. It was still a chair, but it was starting to look less like an object. The rear legs it was moving around on had grown, and there was now a knee-like metal joint. The front legs had a similar joint. It seemed the Chair was adopting a more person-like appearance, as the four metal legs, although still square and boxlike, looked more like arms and legs. It still resembled some sort of weird modern art sculpture, but Jon had a strange feeling that things might continue to change. He wondered how a chair got on in class.
