"Oh. Hi, Mikey. Uhh ... I was wondering if maybe, after we get out of here, we could go to the mall or something," Sally said.
"Sounds fun," he said. "I hope we don't have to bring them along," he said, looking over at Jon and Karyn.
"Yeah..." Sally agreed. She paused. "Mikey, do you feel any different?"
"Not really," he said. "Well, maybe a little. But it feels normal, you know?"
She nodded, understanding what he was trying to say.
