Workaholic

Jon closed his eyes, as a wind blew past him. He knew that something had changed. He opened his eyes and saw that his room looked considerably different. His room resembled more of an office than a bedroom, besides the fact that there was a bed. His video games were gone, replaced with books. There were *a lot* of books. It almost seemed as though Jon had his own private library. And his room was *very* clean and orderly. He looked in the mirror and saw that he was wearing what his dad usually wore to work: white shirt, tie, and beige slacks. He even wore dress shoes. *I didn't wear this to school, did I?* Jon thought to himself. He didn't want to be considered a nerd or something. He checked his watch. "I better get my homework done," he said out loud. And then he wondered why he said that. Jon *never* did his homework right when he got home. This must have been his father's personality. His dad was a workaholic. He had to get things done. And now it seemed that Jon had to also.
