Suddenly, there was a knock on his door, breaking Jon out of his thoughts. He opened the door, briefly thinking that it might be Karyn, but instead it was his Goth sister Zoe. "Hi, Jon," she said, acting a bit more pleasant than she usually did. "Uh ... hi," he said. "Can I come in?" she asked. This was weird too. Zoe never wanted to come into Jon's room and if she ever *needed* to, she just barged in without asking permission. "Uh ... sure." She walked in, giving him an odd look. "Jon, are you feeling okay?" "Yeah, why?" "You're just acting kind of strange, that's all." Was she actually *worried* about him? "What did you want?" he asked. "I just wanted to know if you want to hang out with me and Zelda. Maybe we could stop by The Occult Stop on the way." Suddenly, Jon realized why Zoe was acting so differently around him. And he wondered why he hadn't caught on earlier. Zoe was friends with Athena and now since Jon had taken Athena's place (so to speak), Zoe was now friends with *him*. But that also meant that he was no longer friends with Karyn. Instead, Athena probably was, if things worked both ways. "Uh ... Zoe," Jon said. "Do you know where my wishing stone is?" He felt like he could trust her.
