As they walked into the school, everything seemed the same. That is, until Jon spotted Kyla Leeson. She was walking down the hallway with two other girls (who used to be Sarah's friends). Behind her was *Sarah's* usual entourage of drooling, overmuscled football players and other assorted testosterone-fueled flunkies. Kyla was dressed in a pink halter top and short white pleated miniskirt, which was so short that when she walked by, you could sometimes get a look at her pink panties. On her feet were high-heel open-toe shoes. Jon could see pink polish on her toenails. She still had a brown hair and small breasts, but her skin was very tanned. And her manner was *so* different, the way she walked and interacted with everyone. Jon suddenly laughed, just a little. But it was loud enough that Kyla heard him. "And what are *you* laughing at, you loser?" Yep, she even talked like Sarah. "Nothing." Kyla made an expression, as if to say "Don't you know who I am? You can't laugh at *me*." Then she turned and continued on her way. "Jon, could you *try* not to provoke Kyla again today?" Zoe asked. They separated as they went to their lockers. On the way there, Jon saw the "new" Karyn.
