Mind Control

The Wanderer got up and ran after the bus. At the next stop two girls boarded the bus, one was blonde and the other was brunette. Jon yelled out of the bus window at one of them. "Hey, Karyn. Come on, I want to show you something." The two girls were about to board the bus, but the Wanderer had different plans. Obviously, he couldn't just take the stone from its owner. He had to get someone else to do it. Someone close. And this Karyn girl was that someone. He waved his hand and time froze. Using this kind of magic put a strain on him, but there was no other way to do it. The two girl mindlessly walked towards him. Mind control was a tricky thing, but the Wanderer had done it many times throughout his long life. The two girls listened to what he wanted them to do and obediently did what he asked of them. He wasn't sure which one was Karyn, but it didn't matter. With two people, he had twice the chances of getting the stone. The Wanderer resumed the flow of time and watched his now loyal subjects board the bus. He let out a sigh of relief. Soon he would have the thing that he sought for.
