Crossroads

Jon walked alongside the gravel road until he came to a crossroads. He looked down each way, seeing that each way looked the same. Except, not *exactly* the same for one of them. Just before the horizon, Jon could see some movement. He couldn't see what it was, but maybe it was a car or maybe some people. He *had* to find someone. And when he did, he hoped that they would be more helpful than the disappearing farmer guy. But then again, the farmer told him to be careful. Maybe that movement on the horizon was some kind of danger. Maybe going in that direction wouldn't be the best thing. Jon wanted to leave this place, but he didn't want to do it dead.
