It Begins

Suddenly, Sarah felt a sharp pain in her gut. "Be right back," she said, heading into a nearby girl's bathroom. She entered one of the stalls and sat down, doubling over. There was a loud creaking noise, and when she looked down, she could see her stomach shimmering with a glittering light. It surrounded her entire torso. She could feel it shifting, changing somehow. Then the light faded, and the area felt totally numb. She looked down, feeling her stomach with her hand. It felt cold, hard....it was metal.
