Karyn Drops Into a DMZ, Apparently

"Jon? What wish are you talking about?" Karyn asked. Jon's eyes went wide. "People are disappearing and being sent to alternate realities." "What?" "Sarah was just the first. Eventually everyone in town is ..." Suddenly, an electrical shock zapped through Karyn's body and everything around her changed. She looked around. The first thing she noticed was that Jon was no longer there. The second thing she noticed, though, should have been the first. The school was in complete ruins, like it had suffered some sort of catastrophe. "Hey! What are you doing in here? This is a restricted zone!" a man yelled at her. She turned and saw a man dressed in a torn militaristic outfit and he was holding a rifle.
