Magical Transformation

Jon and the others stared at their captor as he approached them, walking into the dim light, which was provided by the flickering fluorescent light above their heads. He was a lanky old man, wearing a very disheveled outfit. The clothes were dirty and ripped, almost as if they had been thrown away and this guy took them as his own. "You're probably wondering why you're here," he said, with a raspy voice. He looked at them with those dead eyes, then smiled. "I've wandered a great distance to find four unique subjects such as yourselves. You should feel honored that you have been chosen to take part in this life-changing event." The four guys looked at each other with worried looks. What was this guy *talking* about? Suddenly, their attention snapped back to the old man, after a glowing green ball of light appeared in his hand. With the eerie green light cast on him, the man's smile looked even more disturbing and sinister. "Now, let the magic begin," he said. The green light filled the room like a flash of lightning. Then everything went dark.
