Lunchroom

Nothing happened all morning. It wasn't until lunchtime that, all of the sudden, a glowing blue field began to slowly surround the school. Inside, people became aware of it as a feeling of pins and needles on their skin, and a feeling as if their hair was standing on end. Then, suddenly...there was a flash. everyone in the school blinked, the brightness temporarily blinding them. Jon blinked, clearing his vision and looked around. *What just happened?* He'd been in Spanish class, now he was in the lunchroom. His lunch wasn't until the next period. The school staggered lunches over several periods. He was sitting at a table with an unwrapped bag lunch in front of him. Something was wrong. How had he gotten here? He looked around the table at the other disoriented people there. A murmur was starting throughout the lunchroom, of people asking what had just happened. Then...
