"What's wrong with her?" Jon insisted. He moved to shake her. "Are you all right, Nadine?" The girl blinked when shook. "I...think so. What happened?" "Jay's experiment went off and hit you. Can you walk? Do you need the nurse?" She scratched her head. "I don't think so." She suddenly noticed her watch. "Shit, look at the time. I have to go." She ran off. Jon frowned. Nadine didn't use words like shit. It was too much like swearing for her. He supposed that anyone, after getting hit by a weird beam, could have a lapse, but could he be sure?
