Pink Ribbon: The PIzza Guy

Brandon sat on the couch, confused. He had this feeling of unease, as if something was wrong, but he couldn't put his finger on what it was. It certainly wasn't anything off with him...but he was worried about his mother. The doorbell rang. He got the money and opened the door, still holding his mother's purse. There was the pizza delivery guy, who looked to be in his late teens, holding their dinner. He hoped that would snap her out of whatever was wrong. "That will be eighteen twenty eight." He handed the guy a twenty, smiling at him. "Keep the change." "Thanks," the teenager said, smiling back in a way Brandon found slightly creepy, before leaving. Brandon put the pizza on the counter and headed up the stairs, and at the top, nearly tripped over the discarded heels. He picked them up with an annoyed look, and headed into Mary's bedroom.
