Well, I'll see what I can come up with - we've got a fair bit of stuff left to go before the night-side day would start, yet...
I do kinda agree with chompy about the whole solving-things-with-a-lecture thing...it feels a little forced. Not that it isn't essentially the right message, but it's more interesting to have characters coming to their own realizations. With Andy and especially Anneza, for example, I tried to show them gradually coming to the realization of how they'd been wrong not just at the surface level of what they *did*, but down into what attitudes led them to be that way in the first place. (This is one part of the *huge* influence C.S. Lewis has had on my writing, he was a master at this kind of thing.) Their changes weren't karmic "punishments" (well, maybe a little with Anneza losing her ability to communicate,) but they did help kick-start that process.
A TG change could play into that, with Ricky discovering for (her)self how it feels to be objectified, but I wouldn't want to get *too* on-the-nose, that's a pretty hoary cliche...we'll see how it goes, I guess.
Well... (105)
