CTS: Tom Makes a Hasty Exit

Thinking quickly, Tom turned back towards the window and made a hasty exit, making sure he closed the window after he left. He didn't know what he was going to do next, but he didn't want his parents to see him like this. Really, though, he didn't want *anyone* to see him like this. ------ "He's not saying anything, Bruce," Tom's mother (Sandra) said to her husband. Bruce took the skeleton key he grabbed on his way to his son's bedroom and used it. He opened the door and then walked in. "He's gone," he said, somewhat surprised and even more worried than he was before. "Where could he have gone?" Sandra asked.
