And Jon kept fleeing ... all the way back to his house. He locked himself in his bedroom, just in case Karyn chased him home (he never looked over his shoulder the entire way, so he wasn't sure if she had), then darted towards where he had stashed the stone before going on that "family retreat" a week ago. With one wish, he could fix Karyn so that she wouldn't be mad with him. And with another wish, he could figure out what he was doing during his missing week. He pulled out the box that the stone was kept in, then he opened it.
