Family Retreat: Some Fresh Air

*Hmm. What makes this "retreat" so interesting, and why don't we need to bring anything?* Jon wondered, as they left the driveway. They ended up driving to just outside town. It was a privately-owned park and recreational center, usually used for family outings, hiking, or even weddings. After their car drove over the gravel road and parked near the edge of the forest, Jon and his family got out and looked around. His mother and father seemed exhilarated to be there, breathing in the fresh air. His little brother Mikey also seemed excited, for some reason. But his sister Zoe looked unhappy, crossing her pale arms in front of her black T-shirt. She obviously didn't want to be there. "So, why are we here?" Jon asked, refusing to find out for himself.
