WLV: Day One

Jon woke up first, to the gentle sounds of a nature alarm. He turned and saw his mother still sleeping under the covers. They both had a busy day, according to what they'd been told. He headed for the bathroom and looked in the mirror. "Hmm..." he remarked, noticing his hair had grown shoulder length overnight. "Different," he concluded, and headed for the shower. "Okay," he mumbled as he showered. "Take Susan to elementary school, Karyn and Mikey to high school. Then be at work. I hope the car has a GPS." He'd only passed driver's ed this year." Getting out of the shower, he freshened up, got dressed, and went to get the rest of his new family up.
