Alone Again

Jon stared at her. She frowned. "Okay, okay," she said. "Maybe we should just call it a night. I was really looking forward to this, Jonathan. I hope whatever is bothering you goes away soon." She urged him to the door and closed it. He sighed. Lauren was his idea of a perfect girl..topping this list of perfection...she thought he was already her boyfriend...and he might have ruined it. He started down the hall and realized he had no idea where to go. He turned out his pockets and found another hotel key with a room number on it, and headed there to think.
