Shirts: Nadine Has Memory Problems

Nadine was about to ponder more about her T-shirt, but her attention was diverted when she heard her parents' car being driven away. She ran to her bedroom window that faced the street and looked down at the road. Her parents were indeed driving away. What were they doing? They promised that they would wait! How was she going to get to the school *now*? But then she paused. Why was she going to the school again? She knew it was for some important reason. But she just couldn't remember. Why couldn't she remember? Nadine turned away from the window and walked out of the bedroom. She didn't feel like she belonged in there, for some reason. She then headed into her parents' bedroom.
