The girl pulled Randy back into the room where he got the shirt. He figured that it was some sort of guest room, since there weren't any belongings there, except for what was in the closet. But *this* time, when he went there, there *were* belongings, making it look like a girl lived there. A teenage girl. How did he miss that before? "That Steve guy is such a creep. Sorry I let it go on too long, Randy. I was taking care of something in the kitchen," the girl said. "Wait, who are you? Why did you pull me away from Steve? I was in the middle of talking with him," Randy said. He was trying to get him to tell him what was going on, but then this unknown girl whisked him away. "I think *he* was doing all the talking ... wait. What do you mean you don't know who I am? We're best friends." Randy looked at her. Best friends? What the hell was she talking about? "Listen, I don't know who you are, but I need to get back out to the party. It's mine, after all," Randy said. *Hold on. Mine? This isn't my party. This isn't even my house. Why would I say that?* he thought. "Randy, you're scaring me. How could you forget me? We've been friends for, like, five years." He looked at her. He had seen her before, around the school. But he had no idea what her name was, and he certainly didn't think of her as a friend. Randy walked past her to the bedroom door, wanting to get out of there. Was everyone at this party losing their minds? First Steve and then *this* girl?
