Laundromat: Questions

Jon reluctantly went with her. He wondered which house they were headed to. He also wondered whose family he was a part of, since he was definitely no longer part of the Gibson family. "What were you doing at that house, anyway?" He turned around to see his mother...or former mother, it seemed, had closed the door. "I forgot my cell, and I was going to ask to use the phone," he lied. There was something different about Tiffany he couldn't figure out as they walked, and she talked about the usual random bits of gossip. There was a rumor that Lenore(*whoever that was*) had broken up with her boyfriend in some sort of scene. Maybe there was more to Tiffany than he'd always thought. He'd always thought her about as deep as a wading pool. Finally, they arrived at a completely unfamiliar house. Tiffany rang the bell.
