Not Very Helpful

Dressed consisted of a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers. She suddenly started, realizing what she had done. It was an action she'd performed hundreds of times...getting dressed in the morning, to the point she didn't even think about it. She ran down the stairs and rushed into the kitchen, sitting down at the table. "Waffles sound good?" Jon asked, reaching for the box of batter. "Great," Linda said, enthusiastically. "I'm starving." Jon began mixing up the batter, and then turned to Linda, sitting there doing nothing. "You could at least help," he said. "Sorry," Linda said. "Set the table please?" He said.
