Sarah McMillan is Zelda's Friend?

Seeing the girl running towards her, Zelda turned away in disgust. It was Sarah McMillan, the head of the cheerleaders and a total bitch, especially to Zelda and her friends. What did *she* want? "Zelda, where are you going? I need to talk to you," Sarah said, running past Zelda and then turning to confront her. "Yeah? And what the fuck do you need to say?" Zelda asked, as she glared at the spoiled brat. Sarah seemed surprised by her reaction, which was strange. This wasn't the first "encounter" that they had ever had. "I ... I just wanted to tell you that practice will be a half an hour later than usual." "Practice? What the fuck are you talking about?" "Zelda, what's wrong? Why are you so angry all of a sudden?" "As if you don't know," Zelda said, bitterly. Then she moved past her. Maybe if she hurried, she could catch up with Athena. "Come on, Zelda. We've been friends for years. Tell me what's wrong." Zelda stopped in mid-step, then turned around. "What did you say?" "Just tell me. What's up with you today?" Sarah asked. "Did you say that we're *friends*?" Zelda asked. "Well, yeah. Since middle school." Zelda didn't know how to respond to that. Had Sarah lost her mind? How could she think that a Goth (specifically, a *cyber*goth) like Zelda could ever be friends with a stuck-up spoiled self-absorbed bitch like her? She took a quick glance down at her outfit, to emphasize, at least to herself, that she didn't even look like someone that Sarah would be friends with. But when she looked down, she got a shock. Her outfit was different. She didn't know how or why, but she was wearing a high school cheerleading uniform. *Well, of **course** I'm wearing a cheerleading uniform,* a voice suddenly said in her mind. *I'm a cheerleader.* Where did that thought come from? Why would Zelda think that? She *hated* the cheerleaders. All of her friends did. What was happening?
