The Bench: The Nova

Meanwhile, as Richard left his office, that entire building began to shift and change. Desks, offices, copiers ... anything that identified the building as an office building disappeared and changed into something else. And by the time Richard made it to the ground floor, the office building was no longer an office building. It was the Nova. And Richard was the manager. Parts of the building were still changing, but the part that Richard was in at the moment (the lobby) was completely finished. And it looked nothing like what it was minutes earlier. McMillan Tech Industries was now gone and as far as anyone in town knew, it never existed in the first place.
