Chapter Two: Knock on the Front Door

As Zoe assisted their new mother with the final preparations for dinner, Jon noticed Stephie return from upstairs, looking a little relived but still fairly shaken. "You alright?" Jon asked, walking over to his new sister. "I suppose, sort of. The situation's just so weird," Stephie said. "I mean, mom's alright, and so is Bibi, but with everything else... it's just so much," she said. "Yeah. Don't worry, we'll sort it out soon," Jon said, compelled to comfort a scared little girl, even one who shouldn't technically exist. Stephie looked up at Jon and was about to say something else when a knock came on the front door. Jon went to answer, wondering who it was this time.
