He decided to try and figure out if anyone in his family was around. He opened the door to Mikey's room. "Is it time to get up?" The person inside said. It wasn't Mikey. He turned around and walked right into Sarah. She looked strangely sympathetic. "You're not dressed yet? Are you sick?" He looked at her. She hadn't insulted him once, or called him a name. Now she seemed concerned. And she was calling him sick? "You're supposed to take Laura to school," she said. "You know what will happen if we get too behind schedule." She seemed very concerned about that. He didn't, actually. She gave him a quick peck on the lips quickly before heading into the now vacant bathroom.
