waiting for help

After a long while the stallion tired himself out, and to my regret withdrew, leaving me feeling empty inside. There was little I could do - it wasn't as if I could ask him to go again, could I? So, I just resigned myself to waiting for Lancelot to return. However, the only person to enter the stable was a different stableboy from the one Lancelot had become, and he just separated me fromt he stallion and gave me some hay. With nothing better to do, I ate, then slept, then woke and ate again. The stableboy groomed me, then exercised me in a small yard behind the stable, then I was back in my stall. Before i realized it, evening approached, and there was no sign of Lancelot! After being fed in the evening, I noticed another figure entereing the stable - apparently one of those who had captured me and then attacked Lancelot. He was trailed by a buxom young woman who seemed, even to my now non-human eyes, extremely shy and timid. They stopped before me, and the man said "I guess we should see if our "friend" here took with the mating last night - we certainly need colts around here!"
