Miss Fine: Cheerleading Tryouts

"OK girls!" Zoe called out. She watched as the group formed a line ready to begin the tryouts. "Now we're going to try a few simple routines first. Everyone grab some pompoms and then get ready. Everyone started hurrying to where the pompoms where kept and picked a pair up. Turning to her squad Zoe told them. "Right, we'll each pick a partner and then show them the routine before putting everyone together. How does that sound?" Her squad nodded. They then separated and each chose a partner. Zoe selected Leonard Drillers. She was unsure why he had come along to the tryouts but she decided not to ask. "Are you OK Leonard?" She asked. He looked a little nervous but he nodded slowly. Zoe put her left foot forward. "OK, now put your foot forward just like I have." She showed him. "Great!" Zoe said smiling at him. Leonard smiled back. "Now raise your arms like this..."
