Stephanie Wakes Up

Stephanie woke up, clutching her head. What had happened? She unplugged the computer and put it on the desk far away. If it was shocking people, it was certainly too dangerous to use. Maybe she could trade it in for a better one. She stumbled downstairs to eat. For some reason, she was starving. No one else was home. Her mom and dad were out shopping or eating or seeing a movie ... or whatever. Being a Goth girl, she didn't really do a whole lot with her family, so she had no idea what their plans were. She just knew that they'd be gone most of that night. She started in the fridge, finding a few pounds of cold cuts. Starving, she devoured them. After that, not sated, she drank a full liter of cola. She couldn't figure out why she was being such a pig. She had eaten a lot before, but never *this* much and never this *fast*. She kept eating (mostly sugary drinks and foods high in protein and starch) before she felt stuffed ... and exhausted, and headed back up to bed. "The shock must have fucked me up or something," she muttered to herself, before collapsing onto her bed and falling asleep.
