He heard a voice shout, "Want a lift?" It was Sarah McMillan, his girlfriend, driving her mother's car. It wasn't a classic car, but it was the next best thing...a powerful new one. He got in. "Hey, babe," Sarah said. He frowned. Sarah didn't usually call him babe. "Hey," he said. "You're looking sexy today," she said. "Umm...thanks," he said. Something was off about this conversation. Sarah wasn't exactly timid, but she wasn't usually so aggressive...especially in the morning. It threw him off.
