On the Floor?

Jon ended up at the bottom of the stairs. But ... something was very wrong. While everything seemed familiar ... it also didn't. It was the same set of stairs, the same room ... but ... Jon was different. His field of vision was nearly level with the floor. But why? He was standing up, wasn't he?
