Magic TV: Jon Turns the TV Off

Jon really didn't want to become part of a TV show, so thinking fast, he aimed the remote control at the TV and pressed the OFF button. As soon as he did it, he no longer felt himself being sucked into the TV. He jumped back and dropped the remote on the couch, then ran back upstairs to his bedroom. He wanted to get as far away from that TV as possible. It was obvious by now that this had something to do with that wish he made for something interesting to happen, but since the wish was so vague, he wasn't sure he could un-wish it. He just hoped that the wish only applied to this one time and it wouldn't happen again. He didn't think he could give up watching TV for the rest of his life.
