Jon Looks Out the Window

Jon hadn't slept very well that night, worrying about his wish. He struggled to his feet, bleary eyed, and passed the window, and suddenly froze, wide awake. A girl was running from the house next door, a girl he'd never seen before. She was wearing an oversized sweatshirt that draped over her like a dress...and no shoes. "What?" He said. This was certainly interesting.
