Elsewhere in the house

Jon closed his eyes and jerked his face away from the blinding flash of light. He then opened them and turned back to the stone that he held in his hand, a feeling of dread settled in his stomach. Jon sat there on his bed, waiting for the wish to make something interesting happen; and he waited, and waited, and waited... "Huh?" said Jon quizzically, along with a bit of relief in his voice, "I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow morning to see if something has changed. I hope it isn't anything **too** out of the ordinary." With that he went to sleep. What Jon didn't realize, was that the wish was already in effect.
