The Cloud: Tina is a Black Girl Named Chrissy

"What are you staring at?" the officer asked. Tina didn't even hear him call her "Chrissy", as opposed to "Tina". *This isn't happening,* she thought to herself. *It **can't** be happening.* She didn't know how she didn't notice before now, but she was apparently black! Her dark-skinned arm was proof of *that*. What was happening? How was any of this possible? "Come on, Chrissy. Stop stalling," the cop said, pulling her towards his police car. Now she finally took notice of what he was calling her. Why was he calling her that?
