Linda Madison slipped out of bed and slipped her bathrobe over her nightgown, hearing the sound of footsteps on the stairs. "What was that?" she wondered. *Could it be a burglar?*
She opened the door to the hallway and spotted Zoe heading up the stairs. It wasn't until she moved to confront her that she saw the cloud behind the teen. But by that point, it was too late.
