The Cloud: Two Sets of Teens Change

The cloud seemed to become so thick that Molly couldn't see either the moviegoers or the teens coming out of the bookstore or what was happening to them. Then the cloud became translucent again, before heading off in a new direction. Molly just stood there, staring intently at the people that the cloud had affected. There had been a teenage couple that was coming out of the theater, and another pair of teenagers, somewhat nerdy in appearance, coming out of the bookstore. When the smoke cleared, the four had changed composition. The couple now had one of the nerds in it. Molly briefly wondered if any of them knew that things had changed, just like she knew, before continuing her pursuit of the cloud. But she'd run into the Cloud...maybe that had affected things...
